NEXUS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

Nexus International School (싱가포르)은 3 세에서18 세까지의 학생들을위한 프로그램을 제공한다. 학사 일정은 8월에 시작하여 6월에 끝난다.

 넥서스 인터내셔널 스쿨 (싱가포르)은 IB 디플로마 프로그램 학교이며 싱가폴 EduTrust 4년 받은 교육기관이다.  넥서스는 또한 캠브리지 국제 시험위원회 센터 (CIE)이다. 2017 년에 국제 학교 협의회 (CIS)와 서구 학교 연합 (WSAC)의 정식 회원이며 심사가 엄격한 'Apple Distinguished School'지위를 수상했다.

초등 단계
1 단계 (3 세에서 5 세까지) 보육원과 유치원 
2 단계 (5 세 ~ 7 세) 1 학년과 2 학년 
3 단계 (7 세에서 9 세) 3 학년과 4 학년 
4 단계 (9-11 세) 5 학년 및 6 학년 
 1 단계 및 2 단계(3세~7세)교육은 수치와 과학적 이해, 읽기, 쓰기의 기초를 배운다. 안전하고 행복한 환경에서 실수를 저지르고 위험을 극복하는 경험을 통해 배우는 것을 중요시한다.전 세계적으로 인정 된 IB (International Baccalaureate) Primary Years Program (PYP)을 기반으로 한다.  PYP는 국제 학사기구 (IBO)가 승인하고 평가하는 교육 커리큘럼 및 철학이다. 
PYP 모든 학습자는 언어, 수학, 사회 연구, 과학 기술, 예술, 개인, 사회 및 체육과 제 2외국어로 불어와 중국어줄 하나를 선택할 수있다.

3단계, 4단계 교육 (7세~ 11세)
이 시기는 학습자의 태도와 그들이 살아가는 역 동성과 다른문화 세계에 필수적인 사려 깊음 , 사상가 , 의사 소통 자,  원칙적 이며, 편견 없고, 균형 잡히고,  반사적인 교육이 목표다. 이는 보편적고 모든 문화에 적용 가능하며 이를 통해 배운 핵심 가치, 기술 및 지식은 세계의 모든 문화권 학생들에게 중요하다. 이를 위해 학생들은 시각 미술, 음악, 건강 및 체육, 도서관 기술 및 디지털 기술 분야의 전문가에게 정기적으로 풍부하고 깊게 교육 받는다. 학습자는 디지털 도구를 사용하여 공동 작업하고, 만들고 반영한다.

중학교 
11세에 7,8,9,학년 과정인 중학교에 입학한다. Y7~Y9학년은 점차 학문에 집중하는 학습을 제공한다. Y9 3학기에 상담을 퉁해 10학년때 공부할 IGCS 학습 교과목을 선택한다. 
Y10 ~Y11 학년 학생들은 국제 중등 교육 IGCSE를 공부하고 마지막으로 Y12~13학년은 IB Diploma Program을 공부한다. IGCSE 시험은 모든 능력 범위에서 접근 가능하며 10, 11학년 학생들은 IB 디플로마 프로그램의 기초가 될  균형 잡히고 광범위한 과목을 선택한다. 

12 학년과 13 학년 IBDP
2년간의 중심 과제인 International Baccalaureate Diploma Program 코스는대학 및 고등 교육 기관의 입학 자격으로 인정되는 외부 인증 과정을 공부하는 좋은 기회다, 12 학년과 13 학년의 교과 과정은 21 세기에 직면하게 될 요구를 인식하고 도전적이고 적절하며 다양한 학습 과정을 제공한다. 학생들은 학교 사명에 필수적 자질인 독립적 학습자로서 자신의 잠재력을 충분히 발휘할 수 있는 관용, 협력 및 결단을 보여야 한다.
IB 디플로마는 자동으로 얻는 것이 아니다. 지원자는 언어 및 학업 성취도 요건을 모두 충족해야 한다.  IBDP  학생은 6과목 평가 중에 내부  평가를 주로 하며 외부 평가 두 세가지 시험으로 끝난다. 넥서스학생의 경우 IBO의 요구에 따라 표준수준 3개 코어와 상위 수준 3개 코스를 완성해야 한다. 넥서스학교  코어는 1.4000단원의 확장된 에세이, 2.창의력, 활동, 봉사 3.다양한 주제들 사이의 관계 탐구 및 비판의 지식 이론을 반영한다.

입학 진행
1. Submit an Application Form and the supporting documents along with the Administrative Fee of S$856 (inclusive of 7% GST). The Administrative Fee is non-refundable to new applicants only.
2. Please refer to the Application Checklist on the Application Form for a list of the documents that need to be submitted with the application.
3. Applications can be sent to us via email, post or by courier. A confirmation will be given by the Admissions Office when your application has been received. It is advisable to contact us by
e-mail to advise us that the application is on its way.
4. Review of the applications will take about one week. An Admissions staff member may contact you for more information.
5. Admissions staff will contact you to arrange for the assessment and/or interview of your child.

For applicants to Year 2 and above, your child will sit an online Placement Test comprising of a non-verbal reasoning and a sentence completion section to determine, among other skills, their written English Language Proficiency. This is followed by an interview (if required) with the Head of School/Programme Coordinators.

The final decision on the year group a student is to join will be made by the Head of School and is dependent upon the admission assessment/interview at the time of application and previous school reports. Admissions of students with specific learning needs across all grade levels will be assessed on a case by case basis and the Principal's final approval is needed before we can accept the student.
6. Admission for August will begin after our re-enrolment process is complete in March and we know how many students are returning. A copy of the offer letter for admission, two (2) copies of original PEI-Student Contract with Advisory Note will be sent out to you. You can accept or decline. Acceptance of the offer needs to be received
